I love Stone Gods but Burn The Witch was the song that almost put me off them for good. I didn't like it when I first heard it and I only sort of like it now. But I'm guessing if you've gotten this far, you've already heard it so you'll know for yourself whether you like it or not. Thing is; it's not really very Stone God-ish. I came up with several dozen reasons for not reviewing this single, most of which were variations on 'they're sh**e', 'bring back Kyuss', 'bring back the weirdy beardy bloke' and 'only decent album was their debut'. Hence the long delay between receiving said disc and listening to it.

And, lo and behold, I've actually come up with two good reasons for buying it! Two more than I anticipated.

1) It's the best Masters Of Reality (band, not album) impersonation ever. Right down to the tremelous vocal and out of time rhythm. And, as you all know, Masters Of Reality rock!
