This album rocks! There is loads of U.K hip-hop but loads of american too! In my opinion, the first disk is by far the best, with the second being mainly classics with 2pac and Snoop Doggy Dogg. But both are good. There is one thing about this CD that ruined it for me, Tim Westwood shouting over alot of the tracks. Especially as his voice is so annoying! That is the only problem i have with this CD! Other wise its superb!!!

Lots of the WU's classic bangers on a double dvd, so why shouldn't it be a perfect 5 stars all round ?? I shall tell you. The picture quality and sound are an absolute abomination. I mean my young son could do a better job and thats STILL an insult to him. At one stage as i recall on the 2nd dvd, there is a VHS style 'jump' and bad tracking. As i said, this should have been a must have dvd and probably still is, but whoever put the thing together needs shooting.

Producer and rapper RZA told a Danish interviewer that the album he's the most proud of is this one, "Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)", and it is hard to disagree with him.
What is there to say about such an essential hip hop album that hasn't been said? One classic track leads to another on this 1993 release, and today, in the year of 2008, the price is so low there are no excuses on not owning it. Even if you hate hip hop, this record may be the one to start out with, combining primarily simple and catchy beats with the funny, yet hardcore, lyrical masterpieces each member presents us with in each track.
I can try to point of my favorite tracks, but it is kinda hard. "Bring da ruckus", "Shame on a nigga", "Da mystery of chessboxin'", ... Read More:

RZA,Method man & co. display the styles that have made this group legends in the industry.
Although, each member is lethal in their own solo work/collabarations, surely most would agree that when they come together, the sparks really fly.
Most of the famous tracks are on hear to keep the fans (myself included) happy. Jungle/ Drum & Bass listeners will also recognise many of the old skool samples.

I give this album 5 stars based purely on just how good the Wu are live. I didn't go to Rock The Bells Festival but I was lucky enough to see the Clan in London in July. They are truly awesome and with some of the tracks featured on this album it should be brilliant. I can't wait to hear ODB and Meth live since these MCs wern't at the show in London. I've also seen GZA and Raekwon at their solo gigs in Newcastle and even with just one member of the Wu the crowds and atmosphere were crazy. If it conveys just a quarter of the experience of actually being there at a live Wu show it'll blow you away!
