Air's first album 'Moon Safari' is the least brilliant of the band's albums so far.

Still, it is a very worthwile buy.

Sometimes it sounds like music which can be used for tv series, like 'Talisman'. Or 'Ce Matin Là' with its horn sounds and bubbling synths.

The spacey 'Sexy Boy' is very early-1980ish and must be a dance floor hit. Funny and great track, a lot more optimistic and relaxed than most Air stuff. 'Kelly Watch The Stars' is another great song - the favourite song of many an Air fan. The way it uses the synthesizer effects is simple but well-arranged in the smallest detail.

Wow how great I'm just getting into new music such as electronic and stuff and I do not regret it at all absolutely amazing cds with some of the catchiest songs I've ever heard. Air is a classic example of a genre such as Nirvana are to rock. I know people who have been into electronic for years and still love Air. For the price these are going at it's hard to resist. The Virgin Suicides a gentel melodic journey most of the time that stands out on some tracks. Whereas Moon Safari (which I'm currently listening to) just has such a brilliant selection of diverse sounding tracks. And finally Premiers Symptomes I cannot comment on as the other two cds have kept me satisfied enough so far. Great music. Great band. Very much recommended.

Apart from two tracks from 1970, all these songs are from 1968 or 1969. Although Petula’s music was as good as ever, her music was going out of fashion so the music here is generally less well known than her music from the mid-sixties, although it does include French versions of her classic songs Kiss me goodbye and Happy heart, as well as Melody man, the English version of which was a big hit in Australia.

There are fewer covers here than on the earlier volumes, but there are excellent French versions of Tiny bubbles (Don Ho), Dry your eyes (Brenda and the tabulations) and Loving things (an American hit for Grass roots and a British hit for Marmalade).
