The answer is...YES of course it is! I was initially put off as, if you own all of Maiden's previous albums, you will already have exactly the same songs as what is on this new best of album. The CD version is great for those who are new to Iron Maiden, as it's a good starting ground for those who wouldn't know where to begin with Iron Maiden's extensive back catalogue! However, I would definately recommend the vinyl version of this album to all Iron Maiden fans out there. It's a real beauty! As you know vinyl's artwork is always better than the quality of a CD, but as you open the casing up, the design of it is fantastic, all the artwork of singles and albums between 1980 and 1989 are peeping through missing bricks of a pyramid wall, as well ... The foirst thing that you see is the casket. It has Eddies head on the to and sets the mood perfectly for what is about to come. When you open the casket you see the cds, glass and scroll. The glass shands on metal feet. These make it quite wieghty. But this is not a bad thing. When you look down the glass you can see Eddies head. Its amazing and it even has red glass eyes. The scroll is held in place by a ring. the ring has yet another Eddie head. You can really wear the ring unfrunately unless you have z+4 or maybe bigger fingers which is a shame. The scroll is a family tree style page that shows the history of the band by linking in who was in it and where they came from and when to. Now to the main part of the collection, the CDs. If your in to the old spear, than buy this.This took me back to a concert; in Stoke, in the mid 90;s great days .You need to buy it if only for communication ends, but as always Kirk rocks with any thing he has ever written, i personaly think he has never written a bad song,but a bunch of great music titles.Buy this cd you will not be disappointed. SPEARRRRRRR!!!
