Great if you like Kenny "Dope" Gonzalez or if your record collection comprises mainly highly commercial hip -hop. The mixing on the first CD is good and the duplicated tracks on the following 2 Cd's are not 100% neccesary in my books however you don't pay much more to get them so it is hard to complain. If you are a BBE or Kenny fan this is still worth gettin, but many hip hoppa's may find they own many of the tracks presented and won't want to pay the money for the mixing. If you don't own them then i'd suggest you buy it now.

I just stumbled apon this compilation and I am shocked at its brilliance! Some great examples are Ice Cube 'A good day', 2Pac 'I ain't mad at cha' and Tribe Called Quest 'Bonita Applebum'. If you are just getting into hip-hop, then I would definitely recommend this album, as it really does contain some outstanding tracks and some outstanding bands, and, basically, you won't be disappointed. And if you are a hip-hop head, I doubt you need this Cd cos you probably already own the majority of its tracks like me!
