But then the dictionary doesn't make for a good read and that is how best to treat this collection; as an important reference point. Only a precious few mixes of the originals come even close in quality to the album versions. So if you are already a massive Massive Attack fan you probably own most of the singles already. And if you are fairly new to the band then do not buy this before you own the albums. That leaves this box set in no mans land really. Me...well I saw it in a second hand CD shop so parted with money to taste the Unfinished Sympathy mixes in particular. Owning and loving all ... Read More: |
