...no, but seriously this is very very very impressive. For quite a long time I was looking for something particular in Jazz and especially for something Japanese and here I just found something I did not know about, but exactly what I was looking for inside myself. Takeo Moriyama kills the drums and himself- he simply batters his spirits out and the drumming really is furious and perhaps the most impressive in years. The trio that supports him are the bassist, pianist and saxophonist, Right- four out of hte five compositions on this CD are composed by Fumio Itabayashi, who, if I am not mistaken, is the pianist and the only other one is Hush-a-Bye.
