Just when i though hip hop was beginning to stagnate with the slew of poor and artistically lazy rappers spiting "rims" and "hoes" on every joint, there finally comes an album worthy of critical acclaim. This album is fantastic, the beats are varied and melodic, the lyrical content can be both venemous and conscioius all at the same time. Some of the standout tracks are "raw life", "be alright" and "All that you are" If you are looking for something which slightly different but not to abstract then this is a great choice. I've had problems finding inspiration among the 50's and the Lil' Johns. If you love hip hop then sit back, and let this album bring the genres former glory back to make your head nod.

Since reforming in the early 1990s, Faust have consisted of at least two of the following three original members: drummer Werner "Zappi" Diermaier, bassist & vocalist Jean-Herve Peron and keyboardist Hans-Joachim Irmler, plus additional musicians. Peron left in the late 1990s and Zappi and Irmler led a fairly stable group for several years, touring regularly and making their best album since the 1970s in Ravvivando.

But a few years ago Irmler departed (supposedly leading a completely separate Faust, though they've been far less active than the line-up on this album) and Peron returned, along with a new set of additional musicians, so the line-up on this set, documenting a UK tour in Autumn 2005, has only Zappi in common with ... Im a BIG wu fan since 98 when i bought the ONLY BUILT FOR CUBAN LINX album and loved it,from then on iv bought most of the wu's albums however at first i wasnt that keen on killah but when i bought the SUPREME CLIENTELE album i was a fan and this for me is just as good its a classic 06 was a good year for hip hop and this album is one ov the reasons,SICK killah at his best.
