The Singles Collection [Box Set]

Search: Fat Bottomed Girls
by: Queen

Release Date December 01, 2008
It has been now 17 years since Freddie's death and we still haven't had a Queen Box Set of Rarities etc. like the Freddie Mercury one. Now they are releasing singles box sets, why? Most fans have all these songs either on the studio albums or various Greatest Hits packages (Ok except See What A Fool I've Been on certain countries albums). Queen fan completists will buy this album, but I certainly will not. Yes great songs this set but its really an expensive Greatest Hits 1 type package with the singles b sides and you can pick up the albums on the net quite cheaply if you look around on the internet. C'mon Queen Productions give us a decent release, not rehashing of old stuff
List Price: £43.99
CD-Charts Price: £35.22

Search: Fat Bottomed Girls
by: Queen

Release Date September 19, 2005

I was a Queen fan back in the 1970's up until around 1975/6. I drifted away from listening to them as they drifted away from rock towards the pop genre.

On the basis of this album Queen are once again rock giants, Paul Rogers breathes much needed new life into the repertoire and it's great to see Brian May with a smile on his face again. Ignore the detractors and spoilers, this is the best line up Queen have had.

Search: Fat Bottomed Girls
by: Queen & Paul Rodgers

Release Date September 13, 2005
I was a little nervoius on knowing that Paul Rodgers was the main vocalist, singing Freddie Mercury songs. As a Queen fan I did'nt think that anybody could sing Queen songs better then Freddie, I was so wrong, Paul has sung the songs his way and it works in his style. He has not copied Freddie atall. Paul has brought the songs back to life with his own style and keeping Queen alive with new fans.

The live recording is excellent, it is just like being there in the crowd. Paul has done a few of his own song tracks from his group Free, and with the Queen backing sound it has brouht them back to life.
Roger Tayor plays "Let There Be Drums" in his style orginally played by Sandy Nelson and Roger does an excellent job.

Queen on Fire: Live at the Bowl [VINYL]

Search: Fat Bottomed Girls
by: Queen

Release Date June 06, 2005
They say if you do anything for ten years, you're an expert at it. Queen had been together 11 years by the time of this 1982 Milton Keynes show and all their musical skill and live experience come to the fore in this exceptional concert.

Live Aid is the best live performance that Queen (or anyone else for that matter) have ever done, but that set only contained six songs. To maintain that level of energy and showmanship over a 90-minute show in the middle of a gruelling tour is much harder. Thank God the cameras were there that day to capture this once-in-a-lifetime performance.

Calling this DVD "Queen On Fire - Live At The Bowl" is entirely appropriate. The show crackles with energy from start to finish and Freddie effortlessly ... Read More:
