A nice album overall, though nothing 'amazing' really. Cd1 has a particularly mixed theme, with soothing songs such as Les Nuits, or the lovely No Ordinary Morning (wow). Cd2 has more of a beat, but the rhythms are still quite bliss.
Good album, though for me, the best chill out album money can buy is Chilled Euphoria...

This album provides a varied and up to the minute selection of the top female vocalists on both sides of the Pond. Predominantly US soulful grooves gives it a smooth edge mixed with more up beat UK moves from the likes of Artful Dodger and Dido. Topped off with the Queen of Diva's herself, Arethra. This cd is on permantly play in my house. Only reason for 4 and not 5 stars is the inclusion of Victoria Beckham and Dane.....NO!!!

This cd has some good tracks, such as Rui Da Silva and Safri Duo, but it is really meant for the serious clubbers, as some of the tracks on this cd are not recognisable, either for the remixes or purely the tracks. Great if you go clubbing often, but not worth it if you only like the dance stuff that is in the charts/music tv.

In an ideal world we could make up our own compilation albums, cutting out the skipping that most will do when they buy this album. To cater for everyone the cd has to be eclectic, the flaw being that there will always be different songs that will be skipped depending on the individuals taste. The pop is here, a la Britney & Billie, the RnB is here - step forward Mya and Eminem and a few rockish acts like Texas. This CD caters for everyone therefore not satisfying everyone fully for the £15 pounds they will fork out for it, although it does contain CD rom features.

I think this is a great compilation - all the current chart hits are on there but there's also a great track from Eva Cassidy - Somewhere Over the Rainbow which I saw on Top of the Pops 2 recently and wondered where to buy, so I was really pleased to see it here on this complecation. Mums will love this - westlife and robbie williams are on here with Kylie and Atomic Kitten but there's none of that irritating dance stuff, it's all great singles yuou can sing along to.

Many of the other reviews about this product are critical of this album as they seem to be saying that it has too many good songs that they already have. I do not see why this should be a problem as having all these very good tracks in one package must be a good thing.
If you are new to this genre of music like I was then this album is the ideal starting point and I would highly recommend it to you.
