Wow! How often can you pick up a compilation CD and say that every single CD is worth owning? And that every single song is at least alright? And that most songs are absolutely great? I have never been able to do that, until now.

Decades is a brilliantly put together best-of the best-ofs. It is a bargain at the price and a must-have if you were born at any time during the seventies or before. Having said that, my six-year-old daughter loves it as well. It is my favourite collection of tracks from the eighties and nineties.

There are a good amount of songs on this 3 disc box set a total of 54 songs.

Some of the songs are the remix type songs with extended intro which is disappointing ,

The set needs more of the 80's classic songs, there is no Frankie Goes to Hollywood but Paula Abdul and Ashford & Simpson make an appearance.

The album has Madness singing Uncle Sam which wasn't one of their biggest songs, the CD's also include a song from Blondie and a song from Deborah Harry, which is bit like having Culture club and then have a song by Boy George.

All in all a disappointing 80's set, no classics and I'm sure if I had looked harder I would of found better.

"Smash Hits - The 80s" is a superb collection of 80s hits but so much more than that, all the extras that you recieve with it are fantastic and you can spend ages enjoying this wonderful collector's item that is sure to delight all thoses who love the best decade of music.
If you are a fan of 1980s and the music from that wonderful area then this collections a must have, if you were around during those 10 years and a reader of "Smash Hits" magazine, you will no doubt enjoy it even more and all the happy memories will all come flooding back to you, I can guarantee it.
Fully recommened, a super release!

This is such a great box set and has everything I would want from the 80's, from Queen, Soft Cell and Spandeau Ballet to things I haven't heard for ages like Living in a Box and Rock Steady Crew.

I already have School Reunion The Party and The Disco, but this one is by far the best yet!

Well, well, well... what do I see before me 'ANOTHER' greatest hits album... and it's true apart from the last CD of whom I must admit never hearing of more than half the 'artists', apart from Meatloaf & Sinead O'Connor and I think that's about it, oh and of course Sophie Ellis Bexter and Kylie, but if anybody has read any of my reviews, then they'll know of my opinion of these so called 'GREATEST HITS', but I can truly say that this one looks like it can 'deliver the goods' so to speak... so maybe I'll be ordering one after all!!
