This is a very good follow up to Vol1 and has some favourite Mod tracks here including Watermellonman which always goes down well at any Mod nite I have been to.There are loads of good tracks to listen to here and if you already have Vol 1 I guarantee you will not be disapointed here , however if I had to choose between the two albums then I would have to say that for me Vol 1 is the best but both albums have plenty of hard to find tracks and if you do have them on vinyl , your copy is probably a bit worn by now!!!

Great CD to catch all of those SKA tracks in one place. I have been crying out for this for a while and hit the spot. Andy Smith has a great talent of bring together great records in one smooth mix.

Don't wonna get to tech or genre specific - buy this CD if you had a good time at carnival, whether you were dancing on the roof terraces or right up close to the soundsystems.

This is a top ska collection, it contains plenty of classics including a few from the godfathers of SKA music, The Specials. Defenite stand out tracks are Rat Race, Rudy, a message to you and Ghosttown.
Its cheap and you get over 50 tracks to chose from, there has to be some you like in that lot!

So many of these multiple disc box sets are rounded out with so much filla, and some ska compilations also tend to contain some genuine ska mixed up with a lot of later stuff. This one differs in that it gives you the real ting, mixed up with some great 'proto-ska', if you like from a little earlier than '64. The high quality of tracks chosen makes for a heady blend indeed. Well commended and likely to get you wigglin yor butt uncontrollably in no time at all.
