`Kingdom of Comfort' has been hailed as a return to form with renewed purpose for delirious? Sadly, despite having its moments, for most of this album delirious? seem to be a band whose day has gone, trying desperately to regain some momentum. Any hope of connecting again with the cultural mainstream in which `King of Fools' and `Mezzamorphis' once so proudly swam seems to have been abandoned with an album aimed squarely at the Christian sub-culture. Many of the songs plod where delirious? once soared and the lyrics confuse where once they inspired. Why is God smiling when our hearts are broken? Does the Spirit really teach us to distance ourselves from the world when we live our dreams and sing a new song?

"Levittown" is the second album in a trilogy called "Go Out Dancing." The first, "1931," is an exceptional album that received extensive airplay on Radio Caroline's "Imagination" programme. The striking lyrics and unique techno-progressive rock musical style led me to purchase "Part I" on its own merit. I knew nothing whatsoever about Planet P Project, its 25-year history, or the extraordinary musician Tony Carey, the sole person behind almost everything associated with Planet P Project. To this day, the album hasn't left my frequent-rotation shelf.

I was, therefore, delighted at the long-anticipated release of "Levittown" in 2008. Even with those high expectations, I wasn't prepared for the magnificent album that is "Levittown." Few other ... Read More:
