All the themes on this cd are great, but the versions on the 2-disc set are very bad. Most of them are merely "opening credit" 30 second versions - the version of Dallas on this is over before its begun, lasting half as long as the standard opening credits. There are some good attempts, like EastEnders, Last Of The Summer Wine and Poirot but the rest are just too short. 13 out of 40 last less than a minute. Would not recommend unless you are really addicted to TV themes

If you want a CD full of TV themes rerecorded by a generic orchestra so that they all sound the same and don't really sound very much like the actual theme then this is the CD for you. If you want a CD with real TV themes on then run away!!

These pieces are done on an electronic keyboard or organ but are still good arrangements although some songs are done better than others as they can be a little drab. I think it's very interesting to hear different versions of a song and how it is interpreted. This CD is probably more of a "background music" CD but is still reasonably good and reasonably priced. Don't be put off by it not being the original versions of the songs!

Rocky Balboa: The Best Of Rocky

This product description is wrong. The track 19 "Still Here" that is listed in the product description does not exist. There are only 18 tracks on this CD. This is identical to the US soundtrack, thus rumors of the two versions being different are false.

This is a typical Rocky soundtrack, with every single track on the entire CD being a butchered remix that sounds nothing like the one that appeared in the movie. Every Rocky soundtrack to date has been like this. The Rocky 4 songs sound terrible as usual. You have dialog mixed into the audio tracks, so you get to listen to Rocky's voice every single time. Cringe-worthy.

When are they going to come out with a Rocky soundtrack that is NOT a "remixed" or "arranged" version?
