`Dance Craze' is the best visual document of the Two-Tone movement featuring live performances from the six bands central to the original cult of British Ska: The Specials; Madness; The Selecter; The Beat; The Bodysnatchers and Bad Manners. The film was the brainchild of American director Joe Massot whom caught a clip of Madness on TV. On learning of The Specials he sought to create a film to catch the zeitgeist that had currently tuned England Black and White rather than Red and White.

what a great album this is! capturing the best of the two-tone era bands live! only downside is the absense of madness on this cd version due to legal reasons but their missing tracks are replaced with some cracking tunes by the specials and the selecter. so if you remember being caught up in the ska craze of 79/81 or your a new fan, you can't go wrong with this cd! look! listen! and dance!!! enjoy.
