All the songs on this compliation are definitely good...but to represent the summer of 2006 there are SO many better songs that should be here. Mystery Jets? Arctic Monkeys? The Strokes? Graham Coxon?

I assure you that at the festivals the highlights will not be paolo nutini...and The Subways' Rock n Roll Queen was a highlight of LAST YEAR not this one!

Great stuff - it's really a great shame the Blue Room is no more.

One thing puzzles me though... I'm missing Trk 2 on Rob da Bank's disc (Jim Noir - My Patch). It doesn't bother me too much as I own Jim Noir's 'Tower of Love' anyway, but I thought it a bit odd nonetheless.

Is anyone else in the same boat?

I really love this album from the great front cover right down to all the brilliant and different tracks.

I have all the previous Chick Flicks album and am a big fan and this one doesn't disappoint. It not only has the great movie songs but also TV songs Like the Phantom Planet OC theme which I did not know what it was called before I bought this. Also the great Snow Patrol song which is in the trailer for The Last Kiss.

That's some of my Christmas Presents sorted as I'm buying this for my sister and best friend as I know they'll love it.

Great CD strongly recommended

This is the pefect album to stick in my car on the drive up to the V Festival, I love the tunes from some of my fave bands. I like the way they've not just gone for the obvious tunes for all the bands, also good that they've included some cool bands like Biffy Clyro and Funeral for a Friend and I'm loving CSS and Gossip at the moment. I also own the last 2 Festival releases, both of which have been top quality and great value for money...for those of us who still like to buy CDs and not download everything, this is a great purchase.

I am gutted cos I have lost one of the CDs in this amazing double album. Even with one CD is is TOPS. My favorites are Lemar singing the Darkness Track, and James Blunt singing Lemar..... as I said Pure Gold!
