This album was purchased by myself from hmv in oxford in summer 2005 just before i set off for a weekend in Dublin.
The album was a dissapoinment at first as i am used to B.D.B playing much harder than he does on the cd #1. However there are tunes on there that have grown on me, such as Steve Hills 'The Day' and the final number "Need your emotion". Basically by track 10 he has started getting going as he would do live, so this isnt a typical set of his but its nice for someone into clubbing.
CD 2 is a hardcore cd and sadly isnt proper hardcore its sped up trance sounding hardcore, so if your a newbie hardcore raver you will love it, if your a classic happy hardcore fan (Bonkers 1-7) You wont get it!

This album is great, anyone who likes hardcore music and stuff will love this. The first time i heard this i had to go out and buy it coz i liked it. If you want my advice then go out and buy it! Its a must-have album!

id never seen this album anywhere before, and it didnt look very well known, but i saw who was on it and thought ah what the heck...
and im so glad i did! it is amazing! simples as...
cd 1 is the most medlodic hardcore cd
cd 2 is fast and just amazing
cd 3 is OLD SKOOL!

It has to be said that this album represents one step closer to commersial dance music that hardcore is becoming if not become. This has to be the cheesiest bonkers yet even though i have to say i like a couple of the songs purely for the catchy melody. oh well, you win some you lose some. I suppose they deserve one sticker, they did reach thier target of making hardcore even more upperground.....nice one guys....

i have had this cd for ages now and i never ever get bored of it if any one can rate it a 1 star then they must be pathetic! its one of the best dance hardcore cds that i have got. dance music has always been my favourite style but this cd is just fantastic. i bought it when it came out n i still listen to it now

Clubland 5

Although a nice album, packed with fab summer sounds, I get the impression each year Clubland aims their albums at a younger audience. Volume 4 was the best by a mile, but this album makes you feel more like a kid. Special D is just one example, but I guess it wont do any harm having a bit of fun once a year!
Cd1 takes the harder scene, and kicks off with the rather childish song Discoland, followed by a few better tunes that dont sound as cheesey. I'm in heaven is one of my favourites - fantastic, Your shining, Elements, Lover, and a few others, including Body Talk all follow this nice flow of 'lesser' cheesey music that sounds great during the summer. But overall, its quite a happy sounding disc.

Having listened to both cd's many times, I rate the second volume much higher than the first. The main reason being that the first volume had a few embarrasing songs on, real dance music entusiasts are embarressed to listen to eg

5. Face Down Ass Up - Deja Vu
6. Suck My D***! - Dickheads
7. Pizzaman - Cisco Kid
8. Lollipop (X-Rated Mix) - DJ Aligator Project

These arent dance music, there pathetic. The second volume is much more impressive.
