I have bought all the Trance Nation Cds, I have bought the Euphoria collection and I've even dabbled with a bit of Cream (Ooeer!!) The quality of the tunes and indeed the mixing on this double CD is absolutely phenominal! It's incredible that this CD did not get the exposure that it deserves. Countless friends went out and bought Trance Masters after hearing it played. I cannot recommend this title enough!!

This album is ok, and the Leftfield track at the start is one of their best efforts but for a real quality trance album you need to be looking at I'm the Supervisor by Infected Mushroom, Twisted by Hallucinogen or maybe Astral Projection In the Mix. Really, this commercial superclub rubbish doesnt even come close. Im doing you a favour here!

Kiss Club Life 2000 - Club Classics

This is a wicked album that is let down by some occasionally dodgy mixing. The play list is wicked especially CRW-I feel love which is the tune of 2000 in my books. Disc one is deffinatly more vocal orientated which breaks it up nicley. A fine purchase.

John Digweed was one of the most repected names in the trance genre. His work with Sasha on their Northern Exposure series, and on other disks such as Renaissance and his Sydney escapade, proved his prowess of making awesome, energetic trance mixes. Diggers continued spinning trance up until about 1999, when he released a progressive house mix, Bedrock.

Bedrock was definitely an outstanding set, but this is the peak of all Digweed's sets so far. Hong Kong is a smooth, dark, absolutely wonderful mix, with both CDs being equal in their technical flair and fidelity. On many Global Underground disks, I favor the second CD to the first one; I tend to like the more dynamic sounds of the high energy sets featured on the latter part of the CD. ... Read More:

Slinky: Tech-Nique

A commendable release from Slinky with contrasting CDs. The first is a collection of some quality floor tunes, including Seb's Cequenza and Da Hool's WOD. The second is a selection of tracks with more of an underground techno flavour and is more progressive. It is equally good, but you'll find it pays to listen to it several times and as such it has a maturing quality that lasts deep into the night after the transitory high of the clubfloor has long since passed (Medway's Baseline Track is especially good).
