The Essential Willie NelsonSearch: Highwayman With Waylon Jennings- Johnny Cash by: Willie Nelson Release Date April 25, 2005 I purchased this having seen Willie years ago on the George Hamilton show with his long hair and Trigger his aged guitar. I wasn't sure whether Country was for me but I knew a few tracks and thought I would give it a try. It is superb in every way and is not the usual Country Music that we hear from Dolly and others. This is more Country Blues and some of the lyrics are sad and poignant whilst others are good fun. Willie is very versitile and I love this album and have since purchased others and DVD's of his concerts. I have yet to be dissapointed,a true professional and entertaning musician withso much energy. I am definiely a convert to Willie Nelson but I would say I am not a convert to Country & Western Music.
