. Best ofSearch: Hit Mix - Fun Fun by: Fun Fun Release Date January 01, 1999 Fun Fun are two extremely vacant looking Italian girls with the blandest singing voices you have ever heard. Still, this does not mean that this is a bad album! Imagine the vocal talents of Bananarama being backed by Italian Hi-NRG, and you should be about right. From the credits, it appears that these girls come from the same home as Europop diva Spagna, and I read somewhere that she does a lot of the vocal work on Fun Fun's records - surely those two glamour girls are not just (gasp) miming? Songs are based around love and fun, although I guess with titles like "Could This be Love", "Give Me Love" and "Give Me Your Love" (no thats not a typo!), this is obvious! Greatest Hits of the 80'sSearch: Hit Mix - Fun Fun by: Various Artists Release Date November 02, 1998 This is the best ever 80s collection, For the amount of songs you can get for about more or less 10 pounds, you get plenty of value for money. Combined together with the second volume, the collection becomes even better. Some of the songs may not be familiar to UK listener as they may be predominantly American hit singles and vice versa. The only reason why I give this collection 4.5 stars is that it doesn't includes lyrics, liner notes or even chart positions but maybe that would be too much to ask for.However, I don't know why relax by FGTH is repeated in both collections which is a waste of money. Most of all, it would have been great to include American artists signed to EMI affliated labels such as the Motels (Only The Lonely) ... Read More: |
