A new album by Faun Fables is always a terrifying proposition, but their latest release is a disturbing prospect even by Dawn McCarthy's consortium's standards.
The Transit Rider began as a theatrical production based around the theme of the New York City subway. Faun Fables leader, Dawn `The Faun' McCarthy, had been introduced to the NYC subway in 1994 and, in 2002, scripted a production based on its repetitious and breathless nature. The show has been (pardon the pun) an underground triumph.
