. H James - the Portrait of a LadySearch: I Want You by: Elizabeth Mcgovern Release Date October 03, 1996 There is nothing about this book that I can find to reccomend it to anyone. The narrative is uncreative at best. The story is slow moving and uninteresting and the characters are the most disagreeable bunch of people I ever met in a book. It's not even written in a way that might lend to its readability. I hated most of the characters in this book for variouse reasons. And it's the most anti-English book I have had the misfortune to read. My advice is to buy something else. |
