Oh dear oh dear oh dear.

I must confess that I haven't got round to the DVD yet, but the CDs are truly dreadful. Use this as a gym motivator and you'll be back in the pub with a beer within half an hour. There's just no power there. You'd be better off getting a couple of Ibiza-style CDs and chucking your favourite tracks onto a compilation of your own.

It seems to have been put together by a committee for starters, and a committee who don't do much exercise. The most activity I was motivated to do while listening to it was the washing up. Club music is simply not the same as motivating music, and we really don't need "classics" like "You spin me right round baby right round" in this day and age.

Ok so DP isn't the coolest DJ to like but he does know how to get a club full of people to jump around like idiots, stick their hands in the air and grin stupidly with their eyes shut. At least that's what this cd reminds me of whilst being at a Euphoira night in Eden Ibiza in the summer of 2001. This isn't cheese it's a good set which builds well across both cds. I still like it today and it still makes me want to go clubbing so who cares if it's trendy or not!

With no reviews previous to this, i thought the quality of this cd deserved at least one. This is a fantastic cd if you wish to gain a very wholesome, quite recent collection. A lot of these songs i discovered in the summer of 06 while working in a bar and ended up downloading quite a few. I decided to buy this because i knew it had some awesome tracks already but just in case i had missed any, i wanted to know. I wasnt disappointed, i can name at least 10 out of 16 tracks on the first cd alone that i really really enjoy, considering for a normal studio album you dont usually get this, its my reason for 5 stars. If you recognise at least 5 tracks that you like then its your type of cd, you should buy this to complete your collection. Happy Listening!

Euphoria - Return to Ibiza

I know the Ibiza classics thing has been done to death, but this is a pretty decent collection of tunes.
The might sounds flawless, but thats because it is. This whole album has been mixed on a PC - time stretched, pitch shifted, edited, the full works.
Now, I don't mind this - it's a CD full of classics but together in a clever and innovative way. But the time-stretching makes the sound quality AWFUL. The whole album sounds gritty, vocals sound choppy, and wonderful sweeping strings on trance tunes just sound pitted.
A great concept, good tunes, but poorly executed.
