Ends of the EarthSearch: Intermission by: Pete Bruntnell Release Date August 27, 2002 It seems in the UK at least Peter Bruntnell is a little-known secret, although those who love Son Volt / Jay Farrar may well have seen him (perhaps with his band) as support. This continues where his previous Slow River album Normal For Bridgewater left. Gentle, country-tinged music with thoughtful lyrics and real warmth. Like Son Volt, his music is immediate and timeless. While the guest musicians from the previous album are absent, the mood and feel continues just the same. Catch one of his regular shows in the London area, or failing that grab the album. |
