Many of the CDs ACE issue are hardly going to make much money so this is a great service to the collector.
It is of course a collection of total musical failure but at least they tried even if they only bubbled under at No 190!
Not very nice for the artists who clutched the brass ring for 5 minutes but manna from Heaven to the collector.
Especially those who like high school pop.
The Downey label had little to do with actually competing with the British Invasion but were mainly known for a couple of instrumental hits by the Rumblers and the Chantays.
