I recently purchased Blood Of Heroes on dvd to replace my copy of Salute Of The Jugger as they are basically the same film, or so I thought! In theory they are but for the shortend ending which isn't as good as the latter of the two. It's still a cracking post apocolyptic action movie, well worth a watch, but needs the final 8 minutes replacing!!

This is a good collection of music by Natacha Atlas-she is extremely talented and this album reflects that. The covers are excellent, as Natachas does not merely rehash the same sounds but really makes the song her own, in her own style. As for her own songs, they are beautiful and sensual, combining more traditional beats with modern ones. This album is never dull-the livelier tracks tend to be very eclectic, drawing influences from sounds from all over the world. The slower ones are sensual but still retain power and strength-there is nothing half-hearted on this album.
