Atmospheric throughout and varied e.g. it contains the jazz song from the New Orleans funeral march, the rousing main theme from Paul McCartney & co, cover versions of the main theme, funk/soul from the New York (Harlem) parts of the film and even backdrop music to the voodoo dances. The legendary producer/composer George Martin did a great job here. I would say this is the best of the non-John Barry soundtracks from the Bond series. You're also getting a great bang for the buck here as this is the digitally remastered version and contains 8 additional tracks not featured on the previous release. |
