With acoustic music becoming more and more popular, Daivd Poe was quite possibly ahead of his time. In 2004 with the growing popularity of Damien Rice, Tom Mcrae and so forth, I am shocked that David Poe has only just come to my attention. An album with a mix of songs, from the layed back jazz tinted "Never I Will" and "You're the Bomb", to the slightly more upbeat "Deathwatch For A Living Legend" and "Drifter". The acoustic version of "Drifter" on the end of the album ends a magical experience through 12 tracks of brilliance. In summary, David Poe's Late Album is a must have. In my opinion, a mix of Damien Rice, Tom McRae and John Mayer. My favourite album of the week and this one will be hanging around my cd player for some time ... Read More:
