by: Dionne Warwick
Release Date February 12, 2007
This was Dionne Warwick's last album for Warner Bros before her switch to Arista where her career was revitalised. This album produced by Michael Omartian, was the best of her seventies albums and still sounds good today. Includes the ballads "Do I Have to Cry" and "Since You Stayed Here" and the uptempo single "Do You Believe in Love at First Sight". Also includes the jazzy "Love In The Afternoon" which was recorded by Barbra Streisand for her "Butterfly" album a couple of years before. The outstanding track is "Don't You Ever Take Your Love Away," co-written by Issac Hayes which finds Dionne at her soulful best.
