So, Storm Records finally got this album out there, huh?
I used to travel occasionally with David and the record label to promote him, and thought his talents were never going to be realised. He was supporting the Scissor Sisters before they were big here and I for one would listen to his music even when not watching him live. David Wrench is brilliant, pure and simple. To compare him to anyone is difficult, which is why I liked him so much.
Anyway, not that anyone will find this page but if you do give him a try because then you can be the one that discovered this guy. The fifty-fourth installment of the pop compilation is not a letdown, unlike some Nows that follow. It has a great mixture of rnb (Justin, Beyonce & Jay-Z, Nelly & Kelly Rowland, Nelly & Justin), pop (Sugababes, S Club - uurgh! - Girls Aloud, Melanie C, Busted - uurgh!), indie (Coldplay, Oasis), and dance (Liberty X, Scooter, DJ Sammy).
My personal favouriters are "'03 Bonnie & Clyde" "Move Your Feet" "Clocks" and "Being Nobody". On disc 2, there are many songs I have never heard of which is the one of the only reasons it's not five stars. It's a pleasing album and I'm sure people from ages 8-14 will enjoy it.
HINT: Don't listen to S Club or Busted - they are displeasing mediocre pop.

it took me a bit of time to get into this cd when i first bought it due to the poor recording quality. but after that i came to appreciate the raw talent that was on display and realised that although later albums may be better produced, this surely represents one of the best profiles of Bobs early years, and indeed the rasta cause. a recommended buy for all marley fans.
