The countertenor singing of Chris Robson is 'alien' as this role intends and at times extremely touching. The controller role is a tour de force, and sung with ease by Clarron McFaddon. She scales a sonic f with ease! Nualla Willis is splendid and at times her sound is confused with Mr Robsons, further displaying that she also is an outsider.
