Andrew Keech has already posted an excellent comprehensive review on the "Music from the Movies" website ( http://www.musicfromthemovies.com/review.asp?ID=3456 ). There's no point reinventing the wheel, so what can I usefully add? Most of the tracks will be familiar to forty-somethings, and many have probably already furnished the background to youthful and not-so-youthful romantic encounters of varying levels of satisfaction and wishfulness. Indeed, I wouldn't be surprised if many of these tunes, in their original vinyl or tape formats, will be lurking in potential purchasers' homes. Of course, there may just possibly be some younger people who haven't heard any of this music at all! (You guys have definitely got to buy it!) But, setting ... Read More:

Disco, jazz and funk, what's the one thing that makes them compatible? Is it the beats? Nah, but they're pretty good. Is it the funky melodies? Yeah I think it is, and Lets Groove Again is here to prove that disco and funk are far from dead.
CD 1 starts with some disco classics, Earth Wind and Fire, Diana Ross, Chic, Sister Sledge and Tavares all made classics, so it's nice to see their tracks starting this party on a disc.
The compilation goes funky, with the excellent Kool & the Gang, with their funk enduced Get Down On It, with it's funky riffs and coolness that some of today's disco artists can only dream of.
Carrying on with CD1 is a disco classic, disco inferno, which will make anyone dance, other ... Read More:

I have lots of compilation CDs and this is one of the best. The sound quality and volume consistency are very good. I was afraid that some of the songs would be edited, but they managed to get everything full length as well.
Songs like John Lennon's "(Just Like) Starting Over" and Peter Gabriel's "Solisbury Hill" are near to impossible to find on various CDs like this. I had forgotten how good "No Milk Today" is, since it wasn't one of Herman's Hermit's biggest hits. And The Temptation's "Get Ready" is perfection. All and all very pleasing indeed.
