If you only ever buy one Slinky Cd it has to be this one, not a duff tune to be found on either disk as is the usual norm for dance music compilations (eupohria and cream take note!!!).

Both Cd's start on an epic rise and just build and build, check out tune 3 on cd 1, Icarus ABSOLUTLY AMAZING!!!! and on disc 2 the outstanding Das Glokenspiel!.

Well done Slinky i can safely say im looking forward to the next Planet Slinky installment.

I have spent ages, not to mention a great deal of money, getting my hands on the PVD E-werk club mix of For An Angel, Aphrodite, Strange World (2000 remake), Xpander, etc etc. Why oh why did they wait until now to release this collection? It's a conspiracy I tell you. But you know I had to buy it, and so should you. This is the finest trance collection around (my own excepted). Please try not to be put off by the fact that these tracks are un-mixed - deep down you know that a really good mix is the exception these days.

Ok so DP isn't the coolest DJ to like but he does know how to get a club full of people to jump around like idiots, stick their hands in the air and grin stupidly with their eyes shut. At least that's what this cd reminds me of whilst being at a Euphoira night in Eden Ibiza in the summer of 2001. This isn't cheese it's a good set which builds well across both cds. I still like it today and it still makes me want to go clubbing so who cares if it's trendy or not!

This album is one of the best dance compilation CDs I have come across. It brings the chart tunes such as Basement Jaxx's 'Romeo' together with tunes normally only heard on the dancefloor.
I came back from holiday singing Jean-Jacques Smoothie's '2 people'& could not stop for weeks.
Tremendous - buy it.

Superb album, better than the 1st and that was damn good too. after reading previous reviews slagging this album for being outdated, well thats what this album is all about, it caters for those old enough to remember and appreciate the best days in trance history REGARDLESS of whether you the buying public own any of the separate tunes on this album,previous trance albums released by other trance labels have put a few dozen decent tunes on their albums and then the rest have been crappy, unlike this album where each and every tune is superb. basically its ALL the BEST tunes on one album, making it the best trance compilation album released to date. (in my opinion!)

Dont get me wrong this albums not bad but i feel cream spring 2002 was better because its selection of tracks were better i feel. But theres lots of classics like flawless,iam so crazy and romeo etc. Cd2 the best i think more trancy with good songs like hide u,meet her at the love parade and sububan train. Buy this if you can it in a sale like i did its not the greatest.
