Same Old Man: +DVDSearch: Memphis In The Mean Time by: John Hiatt Release Date May 26, 2008 It's probably just about worth the extra money to get the John Hiatt DVD with his new CD, though it isn't very long. The CD itself I'd give four stars to. On the whole I've enjoyed it very much, despite a couple of tracks he doesn't pull off vocally. It has a bunch of very catchy well-rounded songs and is really nicely produced for a change. Note that there's nothing on the DVD from Same Old Man. But there are performances of classic songs from presumably the late eighties when JH looked a bit gaunt, up to relatively more recent times when he looks older but better.
