Very good CD the last one mixed by someone decent and not Steve Caneuto. You can see Steve making an influence on the way this CD is mixed and produced. some of the mixing is a bit strange but the tunes are great and Tall Paul does some excellent mixing to make up for the not so good ones! an example of a bad one is Agnelli Nelson Vegas mixing into Storm Animal.... you can tell Steveo has edited it coz its very sudden. Steve stop mixing these discs and let the pro's take over.

There are three very different mixes’ here all providing a journey of there respective labels releases. My personal favourite is the Defected mix. All three are brought to life by the use of acapellas there not just “another” collection of mix CD’s. I think all three DJ's have gone out of there way to make there mix's that little bit special. There is good selection of old and new records here with the Soulfuric providing a funkier vibe. In short a must buy for any house music lover.

Ive been a fan of Hed Kandi for a few years now, and this combines a great mixture of tracks. Its nice to hear some old and new tracks, even the older tracks have been remixed to give them a new edge. Its well mixed and well compiled. I would recommend buying this as it is a true classic compilation with a bit of everything. Its one of my favourite Hed Kandi CD's and it goes down a storm when you've been partying all night!!

I felt compelled to write a review of this abum having owned it for more than a year. It's constantly featured on my playlists even after all this time, and with good reason. Some other reviewers are totally missing the point of the configuration of these 3 cd's. They are only intended as a celebratory snapshot of Hed Kandi's glittering past and do a dam good job of it. I admit to being a long-time kandi follower but I will be perfectly ready to slate an album if it fails my expectations. This one however, doesn't. Quite frankly, I don't care that I don't get the full versions of all the songs - its just means they get to put more top quality tunes on without wasting time on intros. Buy this Kandi release! They haven't made em like this for a while. This release is the epitome of fantastic disco house, and for my money, there hasn't been a release since that has quite made this grade!
That's not to say that there hasn't been some great Hed Kandi releases since because there has!
