OK, this is a good collection of songs from the album's subject but c'mon, no Cilla Black!
Cilla had two no.1 hits in the 60s as well as 8 more top ten smashes. Why, does it seem that Cilla has been airbrushed out of 60s music, her voice really was one of a kind.
This mayor release could have introduced more people to Cilla's music but all it is an insult to her musical legacy where so many one hit wonders have their songs included here, there is no Cilla recording to be found.

This 2-disc cd is crammed full of practically nearly every single Ska & 2 Tone anthem going. You only have to check the tracklist to see what I mean. Disc 1 concentrates on the original Jamaican Ska sound from the 60's and disc 2 from the late 70's/early 80's British Ska revival, by the likes of: The Specials, The Selector, Madness, Bad Manners, The Beat, The Bodysnatchers etc. You will be hard pushed to find a more comprehensive, commercially packaged Ska compilation than this.

There is not much one can say about this compilation except that it is BRILLIANT! 80s classics blend in harmonically with the rock anthems of the era. Ideal for a party, for relaxing, for HAVING FUN, as we all need a bit of cheering up these days! This does the trick. Just as good as Schooldisco.Com The revision Guide 1. I would suggest getting both for a more complete collection. Highly recommended for those who are bombarded by compilations regarding the 80s and don't know which one to chose. This one has it all!!!

If you love reggae you will love this especially if you are old enough to remember some of the songs from the first time around.
The cd starts brilliant with Musical youth and pass the dutchie which was a classic when i was young and carrys on with great songs from Eddy Grant, Bob Marley, Shabba, Aswad, Shaggy, Chaka Demus and Pliers and even goes right back with Millies my boy lollipop. Great cd for listening to on these hot nights when you want something with a bit of oomph. I am eagerly awaiting the followup of this(hopefully they will do one).
