This an easy one to overlook and assume is just another anthology.To my delight,I realised that those saints at Proper had only put out a virtually complete Rollins as leader on Prestige 1951-56-in recording order yet.An informative booklet included makes this supreme value for stingy so and so's like me who enjoy holding in one hand about 8 or 9 albums worth of our Sonny boy for a budget price.The sound's perfectly OK so unless you MUST have the original artwork and running order of each album represented here,I'd say forget the Rudy Van Gelder editions etc and get this.
