I think that this is actually quite a good mixture of music. Its hard to keep everyone happy, but as far as compilations go this one is very well put together! ok there are one or two unfortunate tracks, but the rest is definatly acceptable!

If there's one thing I can't pull this CDs compilers up on it's their honesty, this is a 38 track 2CD set with a definite chart friendliness. So there are plenty of recent hits. Consequently, the closest you get to an authentic R&B sound is the neophyte Joss Stone, everywhere else there's a distinct urban flavour. Of the big hits; Outkasts 'Hey Ya' still sounds like the greatest single from last year (or any one), while N.E.R.D.s creepy, throbbing 'She Wants To Move' is certainly one of the best from this one. The eerie world music fusion with Enya samples on The Pirates aching 'You Should Really Know' is a welcome eye opener, while the double appearances of Kelis and Jamelia are effortlessly classy and, crucially, soulful. Shame then, that too much ... Read More:

I would have to say that I enjoyed the vibe this cd gave me. there was a wide variety of sounds and bands which kept me entertained whilst in the car, and at the gym. when I first read the song options I got a bit nervous but after listening I felt that the cd was well arranged that you weren't always skipping to the next track. I'd recommend it to my friends and use it as a gift, since I already have one for myself.

I bought this compilation really not knowing what to expect as i had not heard of many of the artist featured. Now i can't stop listening to it and i prefer disc 2 to disc 1. I have fallen in love with track 18 on disc 2 as it just so relaxing! The remixes are excellent and it features the best dance anthems of this year and many decent anthems from previous years. It has really opened my ears and i have since bought numerous dance compilations as i really truly love this one. Hope this review has been helpful to you! P.S all the tracks featured are worth listeing too even if you are unsure about some of them, just sit down relax for a night with this cd on relatively loud and just sit back and relax!

This double cd from the "NOW" collection of compilation cds is the best collection of dance tunes from 2004.
It's not a hardcore/trance compilation, it has popular remixes and dance versions of some fantastic tunes. There are also some lesser known artists and songs but I'm sure you'll have heard them in the pubs and clubs on a night out.
Both cd's are filled with excellent tracks which are put in a great order and are guaranteed to get your feet tappin' and get you shaking your thing!!!
This is the sort of album to throw on when getting ready for a night out - put it on, turn it up and feel good BEFORE you go through the door.
Its also a great album for house parties to get everyone dancing.

One of the best selections of hits all in one collection that I've seen. If you're not into buying an album of each artist, it's well worth waiting and buying this kind of album. I think I've been waiting for this one for a few years now. A good buy.

If this is the best summer compilation ever then i am the pope. There is only one tune on here that is remotely summery, that being Steal My Sunshine by Len which kinda makes you feel like poppin your shorts and shades on and going for a walk on the beach - most of the others make you wanna shoot yourself - mambo number 5, come on, how lame is that.
This would get five stars if it was called "The Worst Summer... Ever Ever Ever" or "The Cheesiest Pile of Turd We Could Stick On Two CD's And Claim to be The Best Summer....Ever"
