I own the vinyl(s) version of this, after buying it off my mate for a complete bargain (somehow). I got it home straight away and slammed it on the turntable and man it blew my head off. it has some really really awsome hip hop tracks and psycodelic breaks and beats. If you like your hiphop/beats you'll love this. i would defo recommend it to the hip hop heads out there, its a great compilation which consists of hours and hours of good quality music.

This is an average mix from the 2002 DMC world champ, which has been let down by what I think is poor track selection. His scratching is superb, but a lot of the stuff seems to be average Ninja Tune tracks which, compared with other mix CDs, is no bad thing because of the genral high quality of Ninja artists. However, Kentaro seems to have picked a number of middle-of-the-road tracks which dont stick in the mind after listening.

In conclusion: Not bad for a bit of lounge-esque music, but there are a lot better Ninja mixes available. Check out DJ Krush's CD in the Cold Krush Cuts mix for great track selection and scratching.
