This box set consists of what is in effect a hard back book, inside which are the 3 CD's.
The "book" is very impressive, being well presented and relaying an intersting history of the Spinners, aided by some nice artwork. The track listing is comprehensive and chronological, containing many quality tracks from over nearly 30 years(1961-1989).
This is an must buy Spinners anthology for anyone who appreciates classic soul of the highest order. Highly recommended.

This cd really evokes the magic of Back to the Future- it's almost as good as watching the film itself! The only notable tune that's missing is Mr Sandman. I would also prefer if the tracks were in the same order as the film. However, these are small criticisms of a great product. Enjoy!

This is an excellent boxed set to get, especially if you can find at a reasonable price.

However Clapton has done such a lot of good stuff since 1988, that it now represents only about half his career. So theres nothing from Unplugged, From The Cradle, 24 Nights, Me and Mr Johnson, Riding With The King etc etc. Its also worth baring in mind that Claptons 80's stuff was frequently over-produced and his choice of material was veto'd (the album August being a good example) by the record company. If in doubt have a listen to the samples on disc 4.

That said its still a great collection:
The Yardbirds, John Mayalls Blues Breakers, Cream, unreleased Cream at the BBC, unreleased Derek and the Dominos, previously unreleased ... Read More:
