When The Wildhearts reformed in 2002 they made it clear that they didn't want to simply tour on past glories like a lot of band's from the early 90s have done. You got the feeling that the band realised that they had never reached their full potential. So it was back to basics. This involved a lot of touring of small venues and the gradual building up to an album through singles. This started with Vanilla Radio in September 2002, Stormy In The North Karma In The South in January 2003, and So Into You in May 2003. Each single making the UK top 30.
