When The Wildhearts reformed in 2002 they made it clear that they didn't want to simply tour on past glories like a lot of band's from the early 90s have done. You got the feeling that the band realised that they had never reached their full potential.

So it was back to basics. This involved a lot of touring of small venues and the gradual building up to an album through singles. This started with Vanilla Radio in September 2002, Stormy In The North Karma In The South in January 2003, and So Into You in May 2003. Each single making the UK top 30.

Top of the world could just of easily come off the debut album (Earth Vs. The WIldhearts) from these guys rather than there latest album (The Wildhearts must be Destroyed).This is a classic slice of what The Wildhearts are all about and that is rock, roll & fantastic riffs and choruses to sing your heart out too.

The Wildhearts should rightfully be as big as The Darkness as they have so many quality tracks and a lot more experience in touring and gigging and not to mention the song writing genius that is Ginger.

I can not advise you enough to buy all 3 cd formats of this release as they all have exclusive b-sides that nearly add up to an albums worth of material not to mention the video for the song and the Radio 1 played version ... Read More:
