This is a pretty good Pablo collection, but not as good as some others such as the recent 'The Very Best Of' on Jet Star. Certain tracks, such as Dub Organiser, Point Blank, and Pablo in Dub stand out as being particularly noteworthy, but overall, the album is let down by some bad quality mastering, meaning these dub bombs dont sound as HEAVY as they should, which is a shame. Having said that, the constantly inventive melodies of Pablo's trusty melodica still shine through, and as always, are delayed and reverb soaked into dub-oblivion. If you dont own any Augustus Pablo, then go for 'King Tubby Meets Rockers Uptown' his undisputed masterpiece with Tubby at the controls.
