Standout tracks include, the Nobel prize mix of Mike Oldfield's Sentinal, Pounding beats over whirling atmospheric sounds and over 12 minutes long, this one is timeless.

Lisa Stansfield's time to make you mine is taken to another level, the only description I can give of this track is SEXY!!!

You've also got the classic Blue danube remix of the KLF's 3am eternal, the mental bassline's of Meat Beat manifesto's Radio Babylon and Tubeway Army's Jo the waiter, and the infectious rhythms of Tangerine Dreams Towards the evening star.

Well I had my hopes severly dented when I got hold of this. The real gems are padded by mediocre and downright second-rate remixes - is it any wonder we've never heard of them before - strictly bargain basement 12"s I'm afraid. I'd like to say the few classics (Primal Scream and Sun Electric) make the album worth while but I found myself reaching for the next track button farto often. Not the best that The Orb can do but for fans and completists a must to fill that hole in their collections.

Found this gem while looking for something else entirely. The Penguin Café are new to me - but not their music. You'll recognise Telephone and Rubber Band from a well known advert and I've heard Music for a Found Harmonium a thousand times without knowing who it was by.

This is a wonderful compilation and a great introduction to PCO's music, some tracks date back to 1976 but it includes a great 1996 ORB remix Pandaharmonium.

The PCO was the brainchild of the English composer and multi-instrumentalist Simon Jeffes (1949-1997). You can read more about this fascinating band on www.penguincafe.com but the music speaks for itself.
