This is the best ever 80s collection, For the amount of songs you can get for about more or less 10 pounds, you get plenty of value for money. Combined together with the second volume, the collection becomes even better.
Some of the songs may not be familiar to UK listener as they may be predominantly American hit singles and vice versa. The only reason why I give this collection 4.5 stars is that it doesn't includes lyrics, liner notes or even chart positions but maybe that would be too much to ask for.However, I don't know why relax by FGTH is repeated in both collections which is a waste of money. Most of all, it would have been great to
include American artists signed to EMI affliated labels such as the Motels (Only The Lonely) ... Read More:

As the title says, wow! 144 Songs from the 80's and include the second box set (More Greatest Hits Of The 80's) that's 288 songs the 80's. I have been meaning to buy an 80's album for a while now, so I eventually bought this one. As I looked at the tracklisting I thought I only knew a few songs, but there must be more good songs, and yes it does, some very good. But some I wonder why they even bothered putting on this album, for example "Jona Lewie, Bobby McFerrin" etc, these are songs that I'd rather skip, there is one thing that has stopped me from buying a 80's album and that is they never seem to have all my favourite songs on, would it be so hard for them to put swing out siter - breakout on the album because I love that song, and tiffany aswell. ...
