Anyone ever noticed how Brian Wilson is looking like Paul McCartney?
The ex Beatle turns up here as one of the guests-maybe showing a Ringo Starr influence
The sleeve art by Peter Blakely is another pointer towards the Beatles and is certainly a vast improvement on the sleeve of Smile
Elton John's appearance here is a reminder that the Beach Boys mad a cover of Crocodile Rock.
A few more covers would have been welcome here. After all Brian Wilson's future depends on just how many 60s songs he covers

Well what can i say apart from Brian May... HE ROCKS!!! I am a young rocker that owes everything in my musical library to this man. Pre Air guitar, i had no distinctive taste in music, but as soon as tie your mother down (Air guitar edit) opened, i was hooked for good. The first air guitar i have to say was my favourite out the first two (I've just ordered the third) but probably only because of the Bohemian Rhapsody. But What a range of musical magic. From the ageing might of Eric Clapton, to the Hendrix experience. Personal favourites include Thin Lizzy fronted by the black rose Phil Lynott, The Clash, possibly the best Punk band ever, and obviously the best band ever, Queen who i have seen twice fronted by Free and Bad Company rocker Paul Rodgers ... This second compilation CD contains some utterly amazing Rock music, but it somehow doesn't quite compare to the brilliance of Air Guitar 1. The music on the first CD's were classic Rock songs (with about two or three exceptions) and the content here is not as good or easily recognised. If you're buying your first Air Guitar CD, buy Air Guitar 1, not Air Guitar 2.

This two disc set is the soundtrack for one of the best gigs I have ever seen. I remember hearing about the Concert for George on the night it went ahead and feeling awful because I did not have (nor could I find) a ticket to go. The line up is magnificent - Eric Clapton, Jeff Lynne, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Billy Preston are among the talent on display here - and the songs (which are virtually all George Harrison penned) are extraordinary. To pick out highlights is almost impossible - but Billy Preston singing 'Isn't it a Pity', McCartney playing 'Something' on a ukele, and Joe Brown's smiling performances are standout. The first disc features the first half of the concert itself - Raavi Shankar, his talented daughter and a magnificent Indian ... Read More:

Okay - you have three choices: the clarity of the CD, the authenticity and notsalgia of vinyl, or the in-car convenience of the cassette. My advice - take the vinyl!
Musically, I am sure we're all aware of Paul's reputation as a songwriter and performer so, if you like at least one Macca song, this album will not disappoint. The majority of his top 10 hits are here, alongside some great songs that never saw release as a single - namely the classic "Maybe I'm Amazed".
But why get it on vinyl? For a start, you may pay that little bit extra, but you'll have on your hands something that will most likely increase in value due to its limited pressings. Secondly - this is one monster of an album (2½ hours of solid McCartney) and I certainly ... Read More:
