After Rhythm Is A Dancer recently re - entered the UK top 30 I pulled out my old Snap! albums to see if they had held up after so long.
This album has a few instrumental tracks on it that dont really stand the test of time but they are all listenable and are complimented by the array of hit singles from this album the most notable track is Welcome To Tomorrow which was a UK #6 hit in 1994 it was also Snaps final UK top 10 single to date as the three following singles all failed to make much of an impression on the chart, which was a shame as they were all excellent records The First The Last Eternity(Til The End) was a UK #15 hit and the last major UK hit for Snap! in 1995. it was followed by the excellent but small hit The World ... The first thing to say about this record is to totally ignore the track listing given here by Amazon as they have confused this release with a totally different record. In fact, 'Never Underestimate The Power Of A Woman' has 8 tracks and originates from 1981. Pretty much totally overlooked at the time, this record deserved a much better fate. As the title track (and single) suggests, Klymaxx were an eight piece all girl band and they wanted you to know that they could funk with the best of em'! Not quite as commercial sounding as say Shalamar or Dynasty, Klymaxx still put in a great performance here and contribute two of the best tracks on show here, the funky title track and the excellent slowie 'I Want To Love You Tonight. Most of the other ... Read More:

This set does not, despite the title, include the complete studio recordings. However, every studio track previously released is here. There are even about three exclusive tracks (or rather alternative versions of existing songs) not available anywhere else. To get the rest, you'd probably have to separately buy double the number of CD's included here, such is the rarity of some of the tracks. For instance, "I Am The City" was only previously included on "More Abba Gold" which has now been deleted.
The only things you won't find in this set are the live recordings, however a new live CD is allegedly in the pipeline which will hopefully take care of these. Only two or three live recordings are currently available on CD elsewhere. ... Read More:

There have been numerous AbbA collections (Gold, More Gold, Greatest Hits 1 & 2, Thank You For The Music, etc) but this one is a must. Not only does it include the extended version of 'Voulez Vous', which is a rarity & the UK remix of 'Ring Ring' but it includes all of their promo videos. Along with Queen, ABBA were quick to see the importance and the necessity of a promo video and although the videos are not exactly exciting, who can ever forget the video's for 'Knowing Me Knowing You' or 'The Winner Takes It All'. If you are new to ABBA, this is the one for you but it is just as important for completests.
