Very good CD the last one mixed by someone decent and not Steve Caneuto. You can see Steve making an influence on the way this CD is mixed and produced. some of the mixing is a bit strange but the tunes are great and Tall Paul does some excellent mixing to make up for the not so good ones! an example of a bad one is Agnelli Nelson Vegas mixing into Storm Animal.... you can tell Steveo has edited it coz its very sudden. Steve stop mixing these discs and let the pro's take over.

The Very Best of Dave Pearce Dance Anthems

Now seriously, Mr Pearce - what were you thinking???!!! starting a compilation is a complicated affair, one that takes more thought than throwing in such commercial criminals as Elvis vs JXL, Love Inc and Dj Sammy. The listener is taken back a few years to the 'real ibiza' of 1998 with the truly anthemic cafe del mar, followed by one of Maxi Jazz' finest hours - insomnia. track 7-10 on cd1, seem to be almost filler tracks, although enjoyable tunes nonetheless. the first cd really takes off around track 11, IIO, Delerium, PPK, Da Hool, Darude provide the real bangers on this compilation, before things are taken a little darker by paul masterson and the warp brothers.

Clubbing Anthems

This is a fantasticly mixed CD, it has several classics and all of the hottest new anthems. I think that CD 1 has the edge on the other two CD's, however, CD 1 & 2 have some massive songs that are catchy and will stay in your head for ages.

If you want the best dance CD out at the moment this is probably joint with Clubland 10, this has a few more classic tracks and maybe a better mix, but Clubland 10 has a great live CD.

Overall this would be a great buy and i can assure you that it won't be taken of your CD player/Walkman for a long while!
