Can't belive Im the first person to review this cd, I first heard about Ayreon from a compilation cd from Japan which had a track on it called 'Abbey of sin' I was blown away by the power and the melody of this track, I had to find more I ordered a Japanese copy of Actual Fantasy [at the time it was the only way to get it] when it arived I was blown away the whole cd was from start to finish beyond belief, For all fans of melodic 'Dream Theater' style rock you should get this cd, I have other Ayreon cds now but this is my favourite, as its one cd and is more streamlined than some of the other [double] cd's, I must stress 'Abbey of sin' absolutely is fantastic!!!

This is my favourite Ayreon cd, I've had the original for some time now, this is a re-worked version, real drums as opposed to electronic drums, re-recored vocals etc, it's quite different to the original but still a masterpiece, if you have the first version it might be a shock hearing it so differently, but it's still worth the purchace, if your new to Ayreon start here, I find this cd the epitome of melodic progressive rock, the track "Abbey of Synn" will take your breth away.
