This is a great mix... if you run a camp for Down Syndrome teens! I can't say the Lisa Stansfield track is bad and I won't take any cheap shots at The Backstreet Boys but even when this came out, "Too Close"? The singing on that song was never cool. It's a fat persons wedding anthem. This is totally USA-Music-Industry retarded. Just for the record, Ultimate Dance Party '97,'98 were good ones ! What happened? This CD should have been called 'tonight we're not going to party like it's 1999 because this collection is terrible"

The reason I love this compilation is because it contains literally everything you could want to know about french house music; the different CDs ensure whatever mood you want, each is so individual in style. I love volume 3 in particular, because of its jazzy bits, though the first is more chilled and you can whack it on even if you're feeling less active (french house isnt all cheesy). Finally, volume 2 is the most upbeat right from the beginning and is good to get you in the mood for dancing. So whatever you decide, I would recommend this because if you love funky french house, this is for you.
