This is the first time these shows are available in one set. Before now, they were Japanese only releases and costed a fortune. Now, you get all 4 sets (7 CDs in total) covering Utopia concerts from 1978 to 1984.

The quality of the shows vary. The worst being the "Oops! Wrong Planet Tour" and the best the "Oblivion Tour". They are however all great shows and it's great to have them on one set, especially the "Deface The Music Tour" because most of the songs from that album have never been played since.

The package itself is very basic. The digi-pack cases come in a large slipbox which hold the 4 sets. There are no liner notes on the shows, just the song lists. But if you're a Todd Rundgren / Utopia fan, then this ... Read More:

There was a time when i thought Todd could do no wrong 'something/anything''wizard''utopia' classics all of them and then when Kasim Sulton joined the band Todd decided to give everyone a shot at songwriting. Big mistake. The others just weren't up to it and i cringed everytime Willie Wilcox stepped up to the mic. Todd's contribrutions easily outstripped the others, yet he continued to give them a chance. Being a fan i brought each album and thank goodness i stuck with it because 'utopia' is a great,great album. The songs have hooks to die for,Todd takes most of the leads and the harmonies are spot in. I have just got the box set recently, and have been enjoying it greatly. Not just that, my three daughters aged 9, 6 and 2 are great fans, and want to listen to it all the time in the car. And the two-year-old even says 'Rock' once she hears the first few bars of 'We will rock you'. Just goes on to show that Queen truly made ageless music, which still scores far above most contemporary music.
